Information Request Chianti Farmhouse - PROFILE: Villa Description: Nestled in the scenic hills just outside of Florence, Villa Impruneta offers a convenient location and breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside. This stone farmhouse was originally built in the 1600’s and has been carefully decorated with antique furniture, lamps and wooden beam ceilings that exemplify classic Tuscan craftsmanship. Villa Impruneta is surrounded by 34 acres of fertile land where centuries old trees have graced the property for generations, and it’s private location, out of view from other homes and busy roads, makes this estate the perfect place for a quiet and relaxing vacation.
The most impressive feature of Villa Impruneta is its convenient location just outside the city limits of Florence which renders it accessible by frequent public buses and country roads that are pleasantly free of traffic. The A1 highway is also a short distance away for easy travel to and from other parts of Italy. An enjoyable stroll on foot leads visitors to the town of Impruneta, famous for its Festa dell’Uva (Grape Festival) and its Fornaci (huge wood-burning ovens where traditional Tuscan terra cotta is made). Have a cappuccino and fresh pastry at the café in the main piazza, or an ice cream in the local gelateria. The local post office and produce market are all just steps away.

Ground Floor:
Living room with sofas, TV, DVD Player and fireplace with wood burning oven (for making bread and pizza), study with desk, one bathroom with bathtub, fully equipped kitchen (oven, American coffee maker, espresso coffee machine, plates, glasses and cutlery for fourteen including tea/coffee and espresso cups, toaster, all utensils, tablecloth for the dining table with matching napkins, cookware, gas stove, refrigerator with attached freezer, sink, dishwasher, food pantry and shelves for storage), spacious dining room with a table that seats fourteen.

First Floor:
Five air conditioned bedrooms (all double beds, one of which can be divided into twin beds) with ensuite bathrooms (with shower stalls) and handmade bedside tables, one children’s room (single bed and a crib). Four of the bedrooms have a fireplace, which warms the ambiance and allows for a wonderfully cozy winter getaway for those inclined to travel during the cooler months of the year.

Annex: located across the patio from the main house:
One bedroom with a French bed (single) and one bedroom with a double bed, both equipped with fans, one bathroom with a shower stall, kitchen with Vietri tiles, oven, gas stove, refrigerator, a table that seats four, plates, glasses and cutlery for four, utensils and tablecloth.
