Information Request PROFILE: Villa Martino a Cortona is set in a delightful position among extensive pretty grounds which overlook the woods, while the swimming pool is surrounded by olive trees and lush gardens. The nearest town is Cortona, famous for its ancient backgrounds, home town of famous painter Luca Signorelli and more recently for the book "under the tuscan sun" by Frances Mayes. From Martino a Cortona you have the possibilty to go horse back riding to the beautiful Hermitage Le Celle, where San Francis lived for a period of time and personally wanted to build the hermitage.

  Garden Area:
A semi-detached two storey house located in a quiet, picturesque setting just at the foot of the hill that leads to Cortona. The old house is typically tuscan style with natural stone walls. Tiled patio with BBQ and garden furniture. Pretty fishpond and kidney shaped swimming pool with equipped garden area. Iron and ironing board. Hairdryer.
