Information Request DESCRIPTION: Via dei Pepi Apartment is located in the heart of Florence’s historical center, tucked away in a surprisingly quiet street in a lively and culturally rich section of town. The street opens into an area filled with stores, artisans shops and typical Tuscan ‘trattorie’ and restaurants. It is close to the daily market of Sant’Ambrogio and the antique market of Piazza dei Ciompi.

PROFILE: The area is closed to most traffic and is well served by public transportion, making other parts of Florence easily accessible. If guests do have a rental car there are a number of private garages nearby for parking.
Restored with respect for tradition, the inviting interiors of the appartment are furnished with care and include several antiques. The apartment, located on the first floor (17 steps, no lift), includes a large entrance, a spacious and luminous dining/living room with couch (double sofa-bed), a large very quiet and comfortable bedroom with two single beds or a double bed, a small but fully equipped kitchen and a small bathroom with shower.
From the dining room, a large set of window doors open out onto a small balcony (5 square meters) which, in the milder seasons, can provide for pleasant al fresco dining with a view over the gardens below. The terrace is also furnished with a washing machine and sink for convenience.
The owners of Via dei Pepi Apartment live in a farmhouse in the Florentine hills 20 minutes from the city. They produce their own organic extravirgin olive oil and are happy to provide tastings and direct sales to guests.

WHERE WE ARE: All of Florence’s most important monuments and museums are within walking distance from the apartment, including the magnificent piazza Santa Croce, the Duomo and piazza della Signoria. The train station Santa Maria Novella is just a 10 minute walk.
