Information Request PROFILE: Sant'Ambrogio Apartment is a picturesque and comfortable apartment which is situated in the heart of the city of Florence: 100 meters far from Santa Croce Square and 10 minutes far from the Duomo Cathedral, Uffizi and Ponte Vecchio.
It is located at the ground floor of an ancient Florentine 14th century building which has been restored in 2007 and it has its independent entrance.
DESCRIPTION: The apartment is 73 sq meters with tiling floors and oak-beamed ceilings and it can accommodate up to 5 people. It consists of: an hall, a cooking area, a spacious living room with a sofa bed, a double room (two beds which you can join or separate as you like), a mezzanine floor with a single bed and a bathroom with shower and bidet.
This apartment is well furnished and very cozy: there is a tv, air conditioning, independent central heating, electronic safe, oven, dishwashing machine, towels, table clothes and bed linen.
Since it is conveniently situated in the core of the City, you can easily visit the centre without needing public transportations, even though this area is well served with city busses.
WHERE WE ARE: In this area you can found pizzerias, pubs, internet points, cafés, international restaurants and much more... Nevertheless a local market takes place from Monday to Friday in an ancient square, named Ghiberti square, next to the apartment. There you can find every kind of good: typical food, clothes, souvenirs, antiquities and flowers.
How to get to the apartment:
If you come from the "Amerigo Vespucci" airport you should take the shuttle bus which leads to the Central railway station, "Santa Maria Novella" where you can take the bus n° 14 to Ripa street and get off the bus at the bus stop called "Macci" which is situated in Ghibellina street in front of the apartment’s door.
If you come from the highway A11 (Firenze mare) you should take the exit Roma after the intersection A1(Milano / Napoli) - A11(Firenze Mare) and then take the exit "Firenze Sud" which is very close to Ghibellina street.
For those of you coming by car there is the new S. Ambrogio underground car park, which is opened 24 hours a day and situated just 3 km far from the apartment.
