Farm Holidays in Casentino - FARM CASENTINO: lies in the heart of Tuscany; it keeps all charm and comfort of traditional Tuscan Tourism. The Farm is situated in splendid nature, rich in woods and balsamic air; a fully equipped playground as well as comfortable resting structures are available for guests; the lovingly restored farmhouses are pleasant and solid: they will win you over with their ancient medieval charm.
Tuscany Apartments - ACCOMMODATIONS: Farm Casentino lies within easy reach of the art cities of Poppi and Florence at the ends of the Casentino National Park which is by right one of the greener Tuscan valley. An ancient medieval village gave birth and identity to the estate: its walls do radiate the charm of the past although keeping the Present awareness. A careful restoration together with the use of typical materials of the area like stone, fired bricks and dark wood gave back to the estate its old vigour also making the ancient walls and nature around reveal a new splendour. Nature and spaces spread the typical Tuscan warm and helpful hospitality. Thanks to its open spaces Farm Casentino offers to the whole family wide areas to move, play and do sport. 30 hectares of woods offer long and evocative walks in contact with the purity of nature; Limonaia offers stimulating books and games for children; playgrounds and swimming pools available for all guests.
A welcoming hall is available for the moments that guests like to spend together; the privacy of the single person is fulfilled by 16 autonomous carefully restored apartments with different bed accomodations. In the morning newspaper, bread, croissants and fresh milk are delivered to the "house" door to welcome the new day. So the contact with traditional genuine things is finally recovered: everything takes care of the person in this always amazing estate.
Farm Holidays in Casentino - APARTMENTS: Farm Casentino consists of 16 farmhouses buildings including villas and hamlets. Each one has its own central heating, open face fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. All houses are equipped with private area for living on the open air, barbecue, garden table and chairs. The name assigned to every property gives an idea of its own autonomy and characteristics. The under-mentioned units are grouped according to their originally farmhouse.
Tuscany Apartments - ACTIVITIES: Farm Casentino offers a unique opportunity for the whole family to combine relax and movement together. Limonaia specifically devised for under cover relax offers stimulating books available in many languages and games too; comfortable halls are also available for the moments that guests like to spend together. For those who like to enjoy the nature, the estate offers wide green open spaces and 30 hectares of woods that hold a considerable number of works by famous artists.
In the Farm there is also available a playground (tennis, volleyball, basketball); a new attractive swimming pool was added to the two pre-existent ones, of 6 x 11m and 5x9 m. Bikes available in Ponte a Poppi, for ones who have a keen interest in mountain bike; 3 km far from the estate horses available for fonds of rides; in Poppi village, 5 km from the estate, the Golf Club Casentino offers a 9 holes green as a pleasant alternative.
